Cancellation Policy

Payment & Refund Policy At The Academy of Expressive Dance, we want every student to have the opportunity to discover whether dance is the right fit while ensuring a positive experience for all Academy families. Membership Fee The annual Membership Fee is non-refundable and covers many of the extras that make our Academy community special throughout the season. Tuition & Payment Plans We offer multi-class discounts and convenient payment plans. Payment plans include a small administrative fee. Our 4-Class Guarantee We understand that trying something new takes time. Students are welcome to attend their first 4 classes to decide if the program is the right fit. If a student is unsure, we are happy to explore other age-appropriate classes (subject to availability and the Director's approval) before processing a withdrawal. If you choose to withdraw within the first 4 classes, tuition paid beyond that point may be refunded. After the first 4 classes, tuition is non-refundable. Exceptional Circumstances In rare situations, such as a serious injury that prevents participation, a family relocation, or other significant unforeseen circumstances, a refund may be considered. Each request is reviewed individually, and any refund is granted solely at the discretion of the Director. Please note that no refunds will be issued after April 1, regardless of the reason. Academy Values The Academy is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment where everyBODY sparkles. We ask all students and families to support these values through kindness and respectful behaviour. The Academy reserves the right to dismiss a student or family whose behaviour, repeated disregard for studio policies, or inability to uphold Academy values negatively impacts the learning environment.
